You will join the project team of one of Cegeka’s customers from the banking sector. The goal of the team will be to help with the digital transformation of customer’s business processes, bringing a higher value to our client by adding up to the already high quality software delivery.#LI-II1

Maintain and improve the quality of the whole testing spectrum for important software components;
Maintain and improve the overview of tested functionality per released product;
Evaluate the current testing effort;
Determine the resources (hardware & software) needed for testing the product;
Be in continuous contact with the development team;
Actively work with the whole team in getting functionality released with the right amount of Quality Assurance;
Work with the team during all development phases;
Provide adequate feedback to allow fast and accurate development of both planned and unplanned work
Log feedback into the tracking system
Keep oneself continuously informed on the evolutions within the field of expertise, keep his/her knowledge up-to-date in the context of new developments in order to strengthen his/her credibility by offering a service that is continuously based on updated knowledge;

What you need to succeed:

At least 5+ years of relevant experience in manual testing
Expertise in writing test scenario’s (on different levels), test tool usage, test execution, defect management and defect tracking
Experience in mobile testing and accessibility testing
Ability and desire to understand complex business processes; business/functional affinity
Experience with guiding business user through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase
Working experience with tracking tools like Jira
Desire to learn and continuously improve
