This means you implement, maintain, and develop/innovate high-quality (cloud) workplace infrastructures. You work on challenging environments where you execute changes in a structured way, handle third-line incidents, and translate new questions into technically sound solutions. You make work more enjoyable and efficient every day by realizing your improvement ideas.  You will collaborate in an international team of enthusiastic and skilled engineers and like-minded colleagues. 

  • You implement, maintain, and optimize (cloud) workplace infrastructures for leading clients.
  • You execute technical changes, upgrades, migrations, and innovations 
  • You identify and analyze disruptions, resolve them, and prevent recurrence through structural improvements and automation.
  • You provide third-line support for complex incidents and act as a point of contact for colleagues.
  • You investigate IT environments, formulate improvement proposals, and translate customer questions into technical designs and low-level designs.
  • You write clear installation and management manuals and perform risk and impact analyses.
  • You train and coach 1st and 2nd line support engineers and actively share your knowledge within the team.
  • You stay continuously up to date with new developments, automate repetitive tasks, and introduce innovative solutions wherever possible.
  • You participate in 24/7 on-call shifts (approximately 6 times per year) to ensure continuity for our clients.
  • You work in a dynamic enterprise environment where you make a difference with your technical knowledge, analytical skills, and ability to oversee complex infrastructures. 

What you need to succeed:

  • A completed bachelor’s degree in IT (or at least 4 years of demonstrable experience as a third-line system administrator).
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in enterprise Microsoft infrastructures.
  • A team spirit and the drive to make customers happy together. You are willing to look beyond your own responsibilities and reach out to the right colleagues.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification (or willingness to obtain it within one month).
  • Strong skills in analysis, troubleshooting, and structured working in hybrid IT infrastructure.
  • A security by default & design mindset and experience with security baselines such as Microsoft SB, CIS, and BIO(2).
  • A developer’s mindset and experience with automation, scripting, or orchestration (for example, PowerShell and Jenkins). If you have to do it twice, you automate it!
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Modern Workplace: Intune, Microsoft 365, Entra, Windows 11, Windows 365, Global Secure Access, Copilot for Microsoft 365, Defender suite.
  • Knowledge of virtual workplaces and the associated infrastructure such as Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix DaaS.
  • Your troubleshooting skills extend beyond the workplace domain to network and server technology and troubleshooting various business applications.
  • It is a plus if you also have experience with traditional Microsoft workplaces: AD, SCCM, GPOs, and legacy Citrix products.
  • It is a plus if you have experience presenting and explaining technical infrastructures. The ability to translate (technical) opportunities so you can convince others.
  • Excellent command of English. Dutch or French are a plus.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends. 
  • Communication with a customer-centric approach and integrating information while making connections between different systems.
  • Advising from expertise and building trust. Making quick and well-considered decisions.
  • Sharing knowledge and collaborating in a team.
  • Persevering, delivering quality, and persisting in the face of setbacks.
  • Continuing to develop yourself and actively acquiring new knowledge.
