Business Architect - Energy & Utility

The Energy & Utilities sector never stands still. Digitalisation, increasing collaboration across the energy value chain, and a continuous stream of (regulatory) changes create a complex yet fascinating landscape. At Cegeka, we help shape that future - shoulder to shoulder with our customers. To further strengthen our Energy & Utilities unit, we are looking for a Senior Business Architect who understands the business, provides direction, and translates strategic objectives into consistent, executable, and future-proof digital choices.

• You actively contribute to the continued maturity and positioning of the Energy & Utilities unit.
• As a Senior Business Architect, you safeguard and strengthen the coherence between business strategy, processes, and data and integration chains. You combine subject-matter depth, sector insight, and strong stakeholder management to drive supported decisions and tangible business impact.
• You work end-to-end, think pragmatically as well as strategically, and help customers navigate a context of value-chain collaboration, governance, and regulation within Energy & Utilities.
• You clearly map and structure business needs, capabilities, value streams, and priorities.
• You translate strategic objectives into clear roadmaps, scope definitions, and guiding principles.
• You facilitate decision-making and ensure stakeholder alignment across business and IT teams.
• You actively apply your market knowledge across multiple parts of the energy value chain, such as market communication and market processes, metering and meter-to-cash, grid operations, energy trading and balancing, data (platforms), analytics, and regulatory and compliance domains.
• You understand the value-chain complexity within Energy & Utilities and take into account the need for scalable, reliable data flows and interoperability.
• You contribute to reusable templates, blueprints, and methodologies that accelerate teams and safeguard quality.
• You collaborate with internal expert networks and communities to review and validate solutions, and to share knowledge in a structured way.
• You provide substantive contributions through coaching, sector initiatives, best practices, and propositions.

• You have several years of relevant experience as a Business Architect, (Business) Enterprise Architect, Lead Analyst, or in a comparable role within complex environments.
• You have demonstrable experience within the Energy & Utilities sector and related domains such as markets, grids, data, and compliance.
• You have strong skills in stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and structuring complex challenges.
• You are able to translate strategic direction into concrete, executable choices and roadmap items.
• You fluently speak Dutch & English.
