Young Graduate – Technical Software Engineer (EngineeringSTUDIO)

At EngineeringSTUDIO, we don’t just build applications, we engineer the backbone of smart mobility. From intelligent parking systems to real-time traffic flows, our software processes data at massive scale. As a Civil Engineer, you seek complexity. You want to work on Distributed Systems that don’t collapse under load, design architectures built for scalability, and use a state-of-the-art stack such as Cloud Native, Microservices and AI or Edge. At Cegeka Hasselt on the Corda Campus, you won’t be given intern-style assignments. From day one, you will be part of high-impact teams.

• Engineering, not coding, you translate complex business domains into robust technical architecture. You apply Domain Driven Design (DDD) to ensure the software reflects reality.
• Architecture first, you build an Event Driven Architecture that processes thousands of messages per second. You carefully consider latency, throughput and resilience.
• Modern practices, TDD, CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and Clean Code are your standard. You refactor because you take pride in the quality of your work.
• Full cycle ownership, you build it and you run it. You are responsible for your feature from concept to production.
• Team dynamics, you work in an international English-speaking team where the bar is high. Peer reviews are tough but fair, and we make each other better every day.

• You will graduate in the summer of 2026 with a Master’s degree in Engineering Sciences, specializing in Computer Science.
• You have a deep understanding of Object Oriented Programming and design patterns.
• Analytical thinking, you can translate a vague business problem into a concrete, scalable technical solution.
• Software craftsmanship, you see software as a craft. You read tech blogs, experiment with new frameworks, and never settle for “it works.”
• You are fluent in English and communicate clearly within a team of experts.
