As a Business Analyst you will analyze and define from a functional perspective, the problems and needs of the business while carrying out feasibility studies and converting problem definitions into functional specifications. You will optimally translate the needs into tangible specifications for information technology applications, improved business processes and automation. Besides the analysis and proposals, this role will have the responsibility to close the loop by helping with the implementation and fix of these proposals. #LI-AP1

  • For different issues/requests identified by the business, you need to analyze and evaluate the current status-quo. The analysis needs to bring different alternatives and solutions together with a recommendation towards the stakeholders of the request.
  • Convert the requirements into functional specifications in a detailed functional analysis document to ensure that we have the basis in place for the implementation of a future improvement project. 
  • Follow up and supervise the progress of certain initiatives until they are implemented.
  • Continuously boost and stimulate the development and improvement of quality with regard to the used processes and tools to ensure that the business can be offered the best services and, thus, strengthen the partnership. 
  • Ensure you are well-informed about the evolutions and developments related to business and or ICT and that your knowledge is up-to-date within the context of the amendments to regulations to ensure your credibility can be strengthened by offering a service that is continuously based on updated knowledge.

What you need to succeed:

  • 3-5 year of experience required in ITO / BPO operations, quality or audit departments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to use information from a range of sources to draw sound conclusions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change planning efficiently in case of unexpected events, time pressure, urgent questions or needs.
  • Operational experience in different business lines is considered a plus.
  • Good understanding of the internal company processes (Finance, Procurement, HR, Management, Internal IT, Customer Support, Reporting) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of automation technologies/programming is considered a plus.
  • Capability to work with diverse applications and flexibility to adapt to new systems and platforms.
  • Certifications in one or more methodologies for process improvement is a plus.

  • Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of common ITIL processes (incident, problem, request and change management)
  • Bachelor/Master
