  • The Data Associate position is a junior position within the Data Solutions team. You will participate in project teams consisting of experienced consultants and other data associates & work on data & AI projects at clients operating in different sectors.
  • As a Data Associate, you will support the experienced consultants in collecting and analysing data, developing reports and dashboards, and assisting with presentations and workshops. Together with your team, you will help our clients build scalable cloud data platforms. In addition, you will transform, process & edit data to use in a ‘future-proof’ data platform.
  • You will provide technical/functional documentation to support the developed solution.
  • As a result, you will gain insight into different business intelligence technologies, learn soft-skills such as communication and problem solving, and develop an understanding of different business processes.
  • You will have the opportunity to expand and renew your knowledge & expertise by obtaining Microsoft and/or Databricks certificates.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Business IT & Management.
  • You are communicative and write fluently in Dutch. 
  • You are passionate about data-driven solutions. Do you have initial experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Fabric, Python, SQL, OpenAI and/or Power BI? That's a big plus!
  • Not only your knowledge is important, we consider your motivation, insight and attitude at least as important.
  • You bring with you a flexible, independent and collegial attitude.
  • Good communication skills, customer orientation and accuracy are also very important in this role.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages. French is a plus.
  • A certain flexibility towards travel is required as work is regularly carried out from the customer's premises. If your presence at the customer is not required, you can work at the Cegeka office closest to where you live (Antwerp, Ghent, Hasselt or Leuven) or from your home office.
