Are you a student with an interest in data, AI, and software development? Curious about how data can be used to investigate whether AI tools such as GitHub Copilot truly impact the way development teams work? Then this internship might be the perfect fit for you. At Cegeka, you’ll have the opportunity to build an end-to-end data solution that provides insights into the use of Copilot within development teams. You’ll combine data engineering, data analysis, and visualization to answer a highly relevant question: what changes can we observe since the introduction of Copilot, and how do these differ across teams?

• Combine data from GitHub, Jira, and Copilot into a centralized dataset.
• Explore how different data sources can be linked and use them to identify trends over time.
• Analyze team-level productivity metrics and uncover patterns, insights, and differences across teams.
• Build a dashboard that enables stakeholders to easily monitor and explore the results.
• Gather input from development teams to enrich and better interpret the findings.
• Translate your analyses into actionable recommendations.
• Take ownership of an end-to-end project and present your results to stakeholders.

• You are a bachelor's or master's student in IT, data science, computer science, or a related technology field.
• You have a strong interest in data analytics, software development, and AI.
• You have experience with at least one programming language.
• You enjoy working independently and taking ownership of a project.
• You have an analytical mindset and are able to critically assess results and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, or data analysis is a plus.
• Experience with dashboarding, data visualization, or BI tools is considered an asset, but is not required.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and/or English.
