As a DevOps Engineer Linux, you will help automate the infrastructure of Cegeka and our customers.  Cegeka is a leading ICT company that offers quality solutions to its customers.   • You are jointly responsible for setting up and maintaining Kubernetes container platforms based on Red Hat OpenShift and the Open Source variant OKD.
  • You will set up and maintain Red Hat Linux servers and install the necessary applications. Servers are set up fully automated via Jenkins, Ansible and Terraform Config management is done via our Puppet-based framework. System patching is automatically done via Ansible.
  • You will design and maintain Jenkins pipelines for Continuous Integration and Puppet code for automated deployments.
  • You integrate automated testing into the Continuous Delivery process.
  • You provide 3rd line support for incidents at end users of the customer so that interruptions of the work of end users are prevented or limited.
  • Within a rotation system you cooperate in the permanent service to end users so that the agreed service levels are guaranteed.

What you need to succeed:

  • You feel at home in Cegeka's result-oriented, no-nonsense approach.
  • You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, system administration is in your blood.
  • You are passionate about Linux technologies.
  • You are familiar with the DevOps ideology and tooling.
  • You have experience with the concept of containers and technologies like OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • You have experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Git, Puppet, Ansible and Terraform.
  • A background as a developer or experience working with developers is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Kanban methodologies will certainly come in handy.
  • You are a team player with good communication skills.
  • You like to take responsibility and initiative and can work independently.
  • You are willing to participate in the 24/7 standby arrangement (rotation).
