Founded in 2016 by UZ Leuven and Cegeka, it builds on 25 years of development on the Clinical Workstation (KWS) within UZ Leuven. Nexuzhealth thus combines the years of experience of both organizations in ICT and healthcare with the passion of a startup. By offering the collaboration between different hospitals and the patient in a transparent and unambiguous manner, nexuzhealth increases the quality of the care provision. Today, 37 Flemish hospitals and care institutions already work with KWS, accounting for approximately half of the Flemish hospital beds. Patients are also finding their way to mynexuzhealth.be, the platform where every patient from an affiliated healthcare institution can consult his or her own file free of charge. Some 1 million patients already use the file in their contacts with their care team, either via computer or smartphone. #LI-LC1

  • As Program Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of our SAAS solution at our customers in the home nursing sector. 
  • You are responsible for the successful realization of a very challenging and innovative software implementation and customization project.
  • You will ensure the functional, budgetary and time related follow-up of the project.
  • You are the SPOC of choice for the customer. You translate expectations into a project plan with clear objectives that are approved by the steering committee. You organize the project kick-off, and ensure that all employees and stakeholders are informed and aligned with the project plan.
  • You monitor the contractual agreements with the client. 
  • You guard the interests of the client and of nexuzhealth and always try to reach a pragmatic solution. 
  • You are familiar with taking program and project decisions within the mandate of the contract.
  • You report internally and to the client on the status of your projects in all its dimensions and you proactively and explicitly manage key risks & issues and escalate to the relevant teams or management if necessary. 
  • You will put together a well functioning team, together with your team members you will make estimations and schedules. You will functionally manage the team involved (order of magnitude 25 to 30 FTEs). 
  • You will work together with the development team leads to schedule the agreed customizations sufficiently and on time, so that they can be made available in the SAAS solution on time.
  • During the duration of the project you motivate and guide the project staff towards the objectives to be achieved. You do this by means of regular project evaluations and feedback conversations. You advise the customer during the entire software implementation process and take the lead in internal and external project meetings. You identify and manage project risks, bottlenecks and changes. You continuously update the project plan to keep it "up to date". 
  • Stakeholder and Change Management.
  • Hiring but also direct self-employment may be considered.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a Delivery/Project/Program Manager within the ICT project world.
  • Experience in leading long-term ICT projects with a minimum staffing of 10 FTEs.
  • Experience within the healthcare industry or knowledge of healthcare systems is a big advantage. 
  • You have excellent leadership skills to lead your team.
  • A higher education (Bachelor or Master) is required, complemented by relevant training or courses in project management.
  • You have a good knowledge of the functional and technical specifications of software implementation projects.
  • Through your professional knowledge, social and communication skills, flexibility and commitment you succeed in winning the trust of your team and of our customers.
  • You are strong and have an open and sincere communication style. Even when you are assertive you do so in a connecting way.
  • An agile mindset to work in a fast growing and rapidly changing innovative environment.

  • Flexibility in travel: you spend time at the customers in Flanders, in addition, hybrid work: combination of working in our offices in Leuven, Ghent and/or Hasselt and remote.
