& AI team has the challenge for you! We are looking for a Service Desk
Engineer with knowledge of Power BI, data engineering and data warehouses. You
will provide technical support, handle service requests and manage small change
requests.
Technical support: you respond promptly to service
requests, you resolve issues related to data pipelines, data models and
visualization dashboards, and you provide guidance and assistance to users
encountering technical challenges with data & AI solutions.
Change management: you manage small change requests such as modifications to data pipelines, ETL processes and report designs.
Monitoring and maintenance: you monitor the performance of data systems including data warehouses, BI tools, analytical models. You proactively identify potential issues and implement preventive measures to ensure system reliability.
Documentation and knowledge sharing: you document troubleshooting procedures and best practices for future reference. You share knowledge and expertise with your colleagues to continuously learn and expand your knowledge. You contribute to the development of technical documentation, training materials and user guides.
What you need to succeed:
You have a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g.
Computer Science).
You have proven experience in a technical support role, preferably within a data environment.
You have a strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, report design and DAX calculations.
You have knowledge of data warehouses, ETL processes and data integration techniques.
You are familiar with programming languages such as SQL, Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
You have experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Did you obtain certifications in relevant technologies, such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate? If so, this is definitely a plus.
You are customer-friendly, communicative, empathetic and assertive. Both teamwork and independent work go well with you.
You have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
You are enthusiastic to learn every day in your job and to broaden your knowledge of our technologies.
