What’s the biggest challenge in your role?
“For me, the biggest challenge is definitely the variety of projects we work on and the unique demands they bring. We serve a wide range of industries, from government to food production, each with its own complex IT landscape. No two days are the same. Especially in larger projects, you’re given a lot of responsibility, which sometimes requires extra effort to keep everything on track. But that’s exactly what makes the work so engaging.”
How does Cegeka ensure you have the time and resources to deliver quality work?
“In every project, we aim for a healthy balance in how the work is structured. Cegeka places a strong emphasis on quality, and that really shows. We take the time to conduct thorough analyses and ensure solid delivery. It’s not about finding the fastest fix, it’s about building the right solution. You’re given the space to develop well-thought-out approaches.”
How would you describe the culture within your team?
“We work hard, but we also laugh a lot. It’s a close-knit team where you can truly be yourself, and where you’re actively encouraged to grow. That mix of professionalism and fun makes working here genuinely enjoyable.”
How have you experienced personal growth?
“I was given the opportunity to grow into a team lead role, and now I want to create the same opportunities for my team. Many of the colleagues I started with have also progressed in their careers. It’s great to see how we continue to support each other in that journey.”
Sounds like a team you can really rely on, right?
“Definitely. It’s a team you can truly count on. We don’t just work together, we build real friendships. And when things go well, we make sure to celebrate those successes together.”
How would you describe the structure at Cegeka?
“What I really appreciate about Cegeka is that we enjoy the benefits of a large company, but with the atmosphere of a small business. It’s the best of both worlds. Communication lines are short, you have direct access to everything you need to do your job well, and the environment feels very personal.”
Can you tell us a bit about how your team works?
“Our team follows a structured approach, but there’s always room for flexibility. We’re not locked into one rigid methodology, we adapt to the needs of each project. It’s a bit like cooking: you follow a recipe, but you can always add your own spices to make it just right.”
