The role of Configuration Owner within Cegeka is a governance role where you will manage the configuration management process, having a key role to deliver and maintain the architectural plans with a strong focus on ITIL processes.

  • Supporting the delivery of end-to-end services in line with customer and internal SLAs/KPIs;
  • Being the proactive gatekeeper for the risks and issues for the customers' configuration management infrastructure;
  • Regularly acting as Auditor for CMDB, discovering gaps or new automation opportunities and driving the necessary corrective and preventive actions with the right teams;
  • Responsible for assisting technical teams in resolving accuracy gaps and reconcile CMDB against the infrastructure;
  • Regularly acting as Auditor for USD CMDB, discovering gaps or new automation opportunities;
  • Ensuring Configuration management Backup for other accounts;
  • Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of CMDB (HW/SW), for License Compliancy, for the relations between the configuration item in the CMDB and for the follow-ups that are required to make;
  • Validate CMDB with the technical architect (configuration identification, control and verification & audit).

What you need to succeed:

  • You have 2+ years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Thanks to your good understanding of infrastructure-related concepts (Storage, OS, Virtualization, Networking and Cloud technologies) you can efficiently support the customer by making continuous improvements; for this, you also make good use of your eye for detail and thoroughness;
  • Excel as well as handling data have no secrets for you;
  • Your good MS-SQL knowledge will come in handy for reporting purposes which you will face in your day to day job;
  • You are a connector between different disciplines and departments and you ensure cooperation and the sharing of knowledge;
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL, but also an ITIL Foundation Training & Certification is nice to have.
