System Engineer Windows SecOps (All Cities, RO)

Are you interested in developing your Windows and security skills? Cegeka challenges you to combine them both! As a Windows SecOps Engineer, you will have the opportunity to explore in depth the security risks in monitoring Windows infrastructures while being involved in the operational management of vulnerabilities. Our working schedule is in shifts (Monday to Friday from 07:00 – 15:30 EET and 09:00 to 17:30 EET) as we offer 24/7/365 support for our customers. Besides the working shifts, the engineers are performing stand-by shifts (on-call) remotely. These are designed to cover the workload during the night and weekends (for critical issues). #LI-DNI

  • Provide 3rd line support for a diverse range of customers while respecting the deadlines and procedures agreed with the customer;
  • Analyze incidents generated by our monitoring systems to resolve them SLA priority-based;
  • Take ownership of all tickets assigned to your queue, including accurate documentation of the support requests and troubleshooting steps;
  • Maintenance of operational systems/resources at customer sites (Windows updates for eg.) and Compliance Reporting: Bitlocker, AV, AD, Applocker;
  • Create the technical documentation for all new Cegeka integrations (Server documentation, SCOMhandbook, etc.) and update the technical procedures and processes;
  • Use vulnerability management as a tool to assess security risks and formulate long-term action plans in cooperation with Cegeka and our Customers;

What you need to succeed:

  • You exhibit communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences. Good problem-solving abilities, a result-oriented mindset, and the capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team are crucial.
  • Proficiency in Key AD DS Components must be skilled in managing Domain Controllers and Global Catalog servers, crucial for authentication and efficient network searches. Knowledge of handling Forests, Domains, Trusts, and Organizational Units (OUs) is essential for effective network administration. Expertise in managing FSMO roles and AD DS replication is necessary to maintain a robust and reliable AD infrastructure.
  • Experience with optimizing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for policy and security management is also important.
  • You possess knowledge and operational experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, and cloud-based system management. Familiarity with migrating on-premises infrastructure to Azure and maintaining cloud-based services is highly desirable. This role requires the ability to innovate and integrate Azure solutions effectively into our existing SecOps practices
  • You have extensive experience in IT security, particularly in a Windows environment. Proficiency in managing and configuring security solutions such as BitLocker, AV, Active Directory, and AppLocker is expected. You should be knowledgeable in advanced security practices, threat analysis, incident response, and compliance with cybersecurity standards
  • You can demonstrate expertise in virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware, including setup, management, and troubleshooting of virtualized environments. A strong foundation in networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols, is essential. Experience with network performance monitoring and troubleshooting will be a key aspect of this role
