With the growth of the internet and the increasing number of connected devices, the need for a new internet protocol version, IPv6, is greater than ever. IPv6 is designed to address the limitations of the current IPv4. This internship assignment focuses on investigating the current status of IPv6, the possibilities of implementation in corporate networks, the advantages and disadvantages, and best practices for adoption.
You will research the current adoption rate and usage of IPv6 across different regions and industries.
You will identify and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of IPv6 compared to IPv4.
You will gather and document best practices for implementing IPv6 in corporate networks.
You will assess the suitability of IPv6 for use in various corporate environments and networks.
You will document the architecture, functionalities, and implementation details of the solution.
You will prepare a detailed report with findings, improvements, and recommendations for future development.
What you need to succeed:
Are you studying for a bachelor's in Applied Informatics or a master's in Computer Science? Check!
