Are you looking for an internship as a full-stack developer? Within Flanders Digital, you will have the opportunity to work on the Flemish Enforcement Platform (VHP). The VHP is being built by order of the Flemish Government and aims to centralise all information related to administrative enforcement of the inspectorates in Flanders and consists of 4 major building blocks that you will get to know during your internship.
You will have the opportunity to actively contribute to making the VHP a successful application.
Your main task will be to develop the toolset related to application management so that the team can optimize production monitoring as much as possible. This includes developing a monitoring tool for faster identification of production issues, a status tool for tracking integrated building blocks, and a tool for managing asynchronous processes within the application.
In addition, you will help build concrete stories for our notification component and/or the Measures Register. Through notifications, we will proactively inform users about events in the application. With the Measures Register, we ensure that all measures resulting from public damage caused by offenders are recorded in the application.
You get to know the VHP as an ecosystem (User Interface and API) and the chosen architecture;
You will participate in the technical and functional analysis phase of concrete stories;
You will actively develop and come into contact with the following frameworks and technologies: Java, Springboot, Angular, Azure, Kubernetes, Domain Driven Design, etc.
You will have the opportunity to work as a full-stack developer in a team and learn under the guidance of one of our senior developers.
What you need to succeed:
Are you studying a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science or Master's degree in Computer Science? Check!
You already have some know-how when it comes to Java.
Do you already have experience or knowledge of Azure, Springbooth, Kubernetes, Domain Driven Design and/or Angular? That would be great, but if not, no worries! You can always learn with us.
You are communicative and write fluently in Dutch.
