You help shape a modern EDA vision and guide teams in the rollout of a future-proof platform. In this role, you take the lead in aligning collaboration, structure, and technology.

  • As a Kafka Stream Architect, you contribute to the development and deployment of a robust Kafka- and Event Driven Architecture platform, while also helping to grow internal expertise across the organization.
  • You take the lead in defining the architectural and conceptual vision for Event Driven Architecture.
  • You build a clear governance framework and a well-supported reference architecture.
  • You facilitate Event Storm sessions with various stakeholders and process the outcomes in a structured way.
  • You define business domains and provide clear, practical documentation.
  • You guide the design and implementation of specific solutions within an event driven landscape.
  • You support teams in drafting data contracts for events.
  • You define a reference approach for integrating event driven flows across different systems.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have proven experience in implementing event driven systems.
  • You hold a certification in Confluent Cloud.
  • You are experienced in working with Azure DevOps.
  • You have a solid understanding of Domain Driven Design principles.
  • You work fluently with Git and apply GitOps practices in your workflow.
  • You have experience facilitating Event Storm workshops.
  • You have hands-on experience in designing and implementing event driven IT landscapes.
  • You work confidently with Docker and understand containerization deeply.
  • You have experience with Kubernetes, specifically with Azure Kubernetes Services.
  • You are familiar with Microsoft Azure Cloud and its ecosystem.
  • You have in-depth experience using Confluent Cloud in enterprise environments.
  • You speak and understand Dutch fluently, as you will be working in a Dutch-speaking environment.
