You will be working on a project for one of biggest telecom operators from Belgium, where together with our them we expedite expansion, introduce new innovations, and facilitate the seamless integration of 5G within the B2B market. Take part of a true ambitions of increasing the gap between telecommunications and IT, allowing for true convergence. You will become part of Business operations within DIGI Belgium central services team and help improving the infrastructure for the bigger scope, DIGI Belgium to become the first telecom operator in Belgium.

  • Managing business critical applications
  • Hands-on modernization of the application landscape, for example implementing a DevOps way-of-working, CI/CD, Container Technology, Serverless and/or Microservices
  • Proactively identifying and making process improvements
  • Offer third line support for incidents
  • Inform, train and guide 1st and 2nd line support engineers to ensure that systems are used in the best possible manner and as efficiently as possible
  • Be responsible for technical realizations and take care of the necessary installations and configurations of the hard- and software in order to implement the client's IT infrastructure in a successful way
  • Install and update procedures and design configurations in order to offer the necessary tools to the first and second line to ensure the stability of the environment within the agreed service levels

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience with Containers (Docker)
  • Experience with Managing Linux (Debian) and Windows Servers environments, with a 80-90% focus on Linux
  • Experience with Powershell, Bash, API
  • Excellent level of English, both spoken and written
  • Experience with Ansible is not necessary but would also be a plus
