Junior Information Security Officer (Bucharest)

As part of the steep growth of our global organization, the Cegeka Corporate Security Office is searching for new colleagues to join our international and global team. The Corporate Security Office is a unique place within Cegeka to develop as a Junior Information Security Officer, even if you are looking for a career change from another role. Passion to evolve in cyber security and a die-hard wish to join our awesome team is mandatory, the rest we’ll bring to the table. You will be part of an international team of Information Security Officers (+/- 10 people spread over Belgium, the Netherlands & Romania) and form an important link between divisions, central services, and other entities within the Cegeka Group.

• You support the Cegeka teams in the day-to-day operational security activities by providing advice regarding security;
• You analyze different questions from throughout the organization and you advise on mitigating and/or compensating measures and improvements;
• You help develop the Information Security Management System (security policies) of Cegeka;
• You are the driving force behind the continuous development of our security processes;
• You know how to understand risks adequately. You capture, analyze, and follow up on information security risks;
• You are a sounding board within Cegeka and you actively contribute to corporate security awareness (communicating vision, support, and advice) to project teams, programs, and management;
• You follow up on internal security incidents and ensure appropriate follow-up is guaranteed;
• You are open to explore and participate in a wide variety of security projects based on your skills and interests;
• You will give security induction training to new hires;

• You have a passion for a role in a Cybersecurity function. You will roll into the Junior Security Officer role where you will be given room and time to develop your new security career.
• You have a bachelor's/master's degree or equivalent through experience
• You have a pragmatic, business-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.
• You have a 'can-do' mentality and are flexible to accommodate different customers, technologies and services
• You have an analytical hands-on and proactive mindset
• You can communicate with different organizational stakeholders (e.g. CISO, IT Manager, engineering teams, ...)
• Nice to have knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST or ISO27001.
• You have ambitions to commit to CISSP and/or CISM certification tracks
• You have a perfect knowledge of English.
