As Team Leader, you are responsible for managing, coordinating and organizing the operation of a team of Windows Support & System Engineers. You are responsible for increasing the competence maturity and determine the competence proposition together with the product owners. You work proactively on the demonstrable expertise in your team, build and maintain an eco-system and, ensure that your team is doing the right things.

  • Lead the development of the team based in Romania in alignment with the team in Belgium
  • Act as contact point for Cegeka competence centre to discuss team skills, availability, services/activities and new projects
  • Are responsible of the quality of deliverables, signaling potential issues and guarding customer satisfaction concerning the team’s deliverables
  • Cover from A to Z people management responsibilities such as hiring new team members, helping them onboard and integrate within the team, cover objective setting sessions and annual performance appraisals, create training plans in alignment with both individual and company needs, develop key talent and manage performance in all areas, play an active role in retaining team members by identifying potential and facilitating internal opportunities for them, act as mentor and coach to team members 
  • Actively lead the transformation from engineer to infrastructure programmer of tomorrow in function of automation
  • Drive efficiency throughout the entire activity of the team
  • Are responsible of Business Performance Management (e.g. Objectives and KPIs, Service Level Agreements)
  • Are responsible for operational coordination and workload balance 
  • Are the evangelist of CSI in your perimeter and constantly look for ways to level up the service quality and productivity
  • Are the linking pin with the other teams of the business line infrastructure such as service delivery, project manager and horizontal peer

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience in managing large teams within IT infrastructure and Outsourcing (3-5 years)
  • Strong coaching, communication and motivational skills
  • You recognize yourself in our values and act in a manner which reflects them
  • Ability to distinguish main issues from side issues so that you can easily control your stress
  • Self-confidence, you are comfortable to discuss project requirements with (senior) colleagues and managers in the field. As well, as to provide guidance to individuals in the team.
  • Results orientation, you will not be satisfied until the job is done with the right quality! You do not settle for „good enough”
  • Customer orientation, you always try to find ways to accommodate a customer request
  • Positive attitude, you see change as opportunity and embrace & lead change in the organization. You act as a role model for the rest of the team.
  • People management, you are open to work with a diverse team or teams of people and are able to guide and motivate staff members
  • Creative thinker, you come up with new ideas and solutions in the face of complex tasks
  • Genuine team spirit and ability to work in virtual teams
  • Strong self - motivated, you have the natural drive to learn and pick up new challenges
  • Fluency in English 
  • University degree or equivalent
