As Team Leader, you are responsible for managing, coordinating and organizing the operation of a team of Windows Support & System Engineers. You are responsible for increasing the competence maturity and determine the competence proposition together with the product owners. You work proactively on the demonstrable expertise in your team, build and maintain an eco-system and ensure that your team has full support for growth and development. Curious in finding out more? 

  • Lead the development of the team based in Romania in alignment with the team in Belgium, acting as linking pin with other departments of the business line infrastructure
  • Cover from A-to-Z people management responsibilities such as hiring new team members, helping them onboard and integrate within the team, cover objective setting sessions and annual performance appraisals, create training plans in alignment with both individual and company needs, develop key talent and manage performance in all areas, play an active role in retaining team members by identifying potential and facilitating internal opportunities for them, act as mentor and coach to team members 
  • Act as contact point for Cegeka competence centre to discuss team skills, availability, services/activities and new projects
  • Drive efficiency throughout the entire activity of the team, being as well responsible of Business Performance Management (e.g. Objectives and KPIs, Service Level Agreements)
  • See yourself as the evangelist of CSI, constantly looking for ways to level up the service quality and productivity in your perimeter and beyond
  • Actively lead the transformation from engineer to infrastructure programmer of tomorrow in function of automation

What you need to succeed:

  • 3-5 years of experience in managing end-to-end large teams within IT Infrastructure Services landscapes 
  • Strong coaching, communication and motivational skills
  • People oriented, you are genuine in creating authentic relationships which nurture an open communication, growth and development
  • Results orientation, you will not be satisfied until the job is done with the right quality. You do not settle for „good enough” :)
  • Ability to distinguish main issues from side issues so that you can easily control your stress
  • You know all the ins and outs of successful customer engagement and can help others understand your vision in this respect
  • Capacity to see change as opportunity, embracing & leading, alongside your team, change in the organization
  • Strong self - motivated, you have the natural drive to learn and pick up new challenges
  • Communicating in English comes natural to you, being fluent in writing and speaking as well 
  • University degree or equivalent
