Do you want to be part of the team that supports business critical applications and Middleware used by our customers?  Would you like to be involved in maintaining the Middleware, doing incident management as well as implementing improvements to help out the customer?

  • You will install, configure, maintain and offer 2nd & 3rd line support on Middleware components
  • You will give advice towards the customer with your technical expertise
  • You will build and expand the technical monitoring and automate tasks where possible
  • You will also be responsible for incident handling, change implementation and project-based support 
  • You will investigate the internal client’s IT environment in a proactive and critical manner, making the necessary improvement proposals 
  • You will participate in cross-competence teams (Agile way of working).

What you need to succeed:

  • You have at least 5 years experience with backend servers running on Linux 
  • You have a broad knowledge of essential IT concepts as networking, virtualization, storage, monitoring, Active Directory, ... 
  • You have experience with Linux, OpenShift, Jenkins, Puppet
  • Knowlegde of OpenSearch, ACDE (Cloudera) and JFrog are a plus
  • You are used to work in an agile or Devops way of working
  • Automation is your second nature. Making complex scripts with Bash or Python is not an issue
  • You are used to troubleshoot Middleware components issues related
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English
  • You are customer-oriented and flexible
  • You like to work in a team but are also able to work autonomously
  • You will work one day per week at the customer’s location in Brussels and one day per week in our office in Hasselt (Universiteitslaan), combined with remote working.
