Do you enjoy building and maintaining customer relationships?  Do you like translating commercial goals into an action plan?

  • You build and manage the relationship with the client
  • You ensure the delivery of high-quality end-to-end services and identify projects and their strategic importance in line with contractual service obligations (Service Level Agreements, quality objectives and cost targets) to safeguard customer satisfaction
  • You take responsibility for part of the commercial account objectives and ensure a holistic overview of all projects and operations at the client
  • You define the customer’s scope and needs, assess the impact and determine the projects required to achieve the customer’s goals
  • You translate your commercial objectives into a concrete action plan and execute this plan
  • You maintain and further develop existing commercial contacts within your client portfolio to ensure that the targeted revenue is achieved within the agreed budget and timeframe
  • You maintain an overarching, qualitative view of operational issues across the entire portfolio and take ownership to resolve them
  • You report to both internal and external steering committees, providing them with accurate and up-to-date information that enables informed decision-making
  • You coach and develop colleagues within the functional account organization to ensure their competencies, skills and know-how are fully utilized and further developed.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have experience working in a government context, with knowledge of specific contractual and/or administrative constraints
  • You hold a bachelor or master degree 
  • You possess strong communication skills
  • You can communicate effectively with various stakeholders (e.g., C-level, engineering teams, …)
  • As a strong networker, you build long-lasting client relationships and know how to successfully expand them
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English
  • Preferably, you work one day per week at our office in Hasselt (Universiteitslaan), at the client’s site in Brussels combined with remote work.
