Are you pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism or a similar field? And are you looking for an exciting internship where you can contribute to an international cybersecurity event? For Cybersec Europe, taking place on 20 & 21 May 2026 in Brussels, we are looking for an enthusiastic intern to support us with both the preparation and hosting of our exhibition stand.

  • You contribute to digital marketing campaigns and report on performance and results
  • You (co-)coordinate the event and video shoots
  • You work together with partners in preparation for the event
  • You complete contact lists and add them to the customer database
  • You draw up prospect lists
  • You support collaboration with Sales to prospect as effectively as possible for the event
  • You think creatively about how the event can be set up as successfully as possible
  • You dress and manage the digital event portal with marketing materials
  • You follow up on event registrations
  • You act as a host at the exhibition stand
  • You help ensure a well-maintained stand (restocking gadgets, guiding visitors to the right demos)
  • You ensure that as many prospects as possible have their badge scanned at the stand
  • You carry out competitor research (main themes and focus points of competitors)
  • You help prepare the post-event debrief
  • You collect and present statistics from the event and related social media activities
  • You ensure that scanned contacts are correctly processed in our customer database.

What you need to succeed:

  • You are studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, or a similar field
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity is not a must — we guarantee you’ll gain a new passion for it!
  • You have knowledge of LinkedIn and social media
  • You enjoy working in a team but are also able to work independently
  • You are driven and take initiative
  • You bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English
  • You will complete most of your internship at our office in Hasselt (Universiteitslaan). Occasional remote work is possible.
