You’re passionate about technology, eager to explore artificial intelligence (AI) and edge computing, and ready to learn, experiment, and build. As an AI Engineer, you’ll contribute to projects focused on AI applications. You’ll work in a small team of experienced developers, while using the latest technologies in AI.   • Working on an innovative AI Agent platform to provide novelty solutions for a wide variety of cases.
  • Together with the team you will be responsible for analysis, implementation, testing, and delivery.
  • You will participate in 3-weekly sprints, work out user stories, solve/investigate bug reports and perform incident analysis.
  • You will perform code reviews and help defining and implementing coding standards and best practices.
  • You will manage the deployment, testing, and monitoring of LLM solutions, including automation of CI/CD pipelines.
  • You will identify opportunities to optimize performance and functionalities.
  • You are eager to learn new things about emerging technologies and trends in conversational AI and applying them to ongoing projects.
  • You will contribute to impactful projects with cutting-edge AI technologies.

What you need to succeed:

  • You are a strong analytical thinker and team player, capable of collaborating effectively and supporting the team in delivering project goals.
  • You are an excellent communicator, able to explain complex technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You have 2-3+ years’ experience of building professional software using Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • You have 2-3 years of Python development experience.
  • You have experience with Azure.
  • You have experience working with Git and Azure DevOps.
  • You have experience in building, monitoring and maintaining highly scalable distributed systems (or are eager to learn).
  • You have experience integrating backend systems into solutions.
  • Experience and understanding of NLP and its practical applications, experience in LLM/ AI solutions, and understanding of Machine Learning principles and related technologies are a nice to have!
  • Good communication skills (both in English and Dutch), customer focus and accuracy are also very important in this role.
  • You work according to a hybrid employment policy: from the Cegeka office near your place of residence (Ghent, Hasselt or Antwerp), combined with working from home and on site at the customer.
