DevOps Engineer - Social Impact

Professional, Freelancer

Cegeka is looking for a DevOps engineer to join the agile team for the EverESSt project at Acerta. Acerta is a Belgian HR service provider with payroll calculation as one of their main activities, this for companies of all sizes. The department responsible for this calculation is called  "Approved Social Secretariat (ESS)". Most ESS still work on mainframe based engines, often 20 to 30 years old and so the need is growing for a new engine that uses modern technology, which is both cost effective and can support new business processes and models. One such payroll engine is a software application that calculates employees' wages each month. But tax files for the actual annual declaration, payment files for cash flows, etc. also result from this. How do we make this a success with Cegeka? By doing what we do best: building high-quality software using our Agile mentality and best development practices. We use techniques such as DDD, TDD and BDD. The technology stack is Java-based, Cloud-ready, and we run POCs in advanced technology that allows us to implement steep NFRs with respect to performance and scalability.
