Are you an experienced Functional Analyst who enjoys working in a Scrum environment and also has some technical understanding? Do you have strong communication skills in Dutch, French, and English? Then we are looking for you! For one of our clients active in the social security and healthcare sector, we are starting the migration of two legacy applications to the Microsoft tech stack. To ensure this project runs smoothly, we are looking for an experienced Functional Analyst. Will you strengthen our team and contribute to a project with social impact?

  • You capture and analyze business requirements and translate them into clear user stories.
  • You act as a point of contact for questions related to analyses, developed stories, and inquiries from clients, developers, etc.
  • You follow up on the development of user stories and are responsible for testing and validating changes. You also guide the client during the testing phase.
  • Shaping Digital Together: you work closely with various stakeholders in a Scrum setup with two-week sprints. You actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and other Scrum ceremonies.
  • Together with the project team, we work two days per week on-site with the client in Brussels, within walking distance of Brussel-Noord station.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have several years of experience as a Functional Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment and understand how to deliver value in iterative development.
  • You have experience with backlog management, refinement, and prioritizing work items.
  • You communicate fluently with both business stakeholders and technical teams and act as a bridge between both worlds. You do this in Dutch and English, and you can also manage in French.
  • You are familiar with analysis techniques and tools such as UML, BPMN, wireframing, or user story mapping.
  • You are analytically strong, solution-oriented, and able to translate complex issues into pragmatic solutions.
  • You are proactive, take ownership, and are willing to take initiative within the team.
  • You work in a structured way, safeguard scope and quality, and maintain oversight in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps is a plus.
