We are within our Data & AI team at Cegeka looking for a talented Lead Microsoft Fabric Engineer to join our team.   • You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions using Microsoft Fabric technologies.
  • You combine technical expertise with strategic insight and know how to translate complex data issues into scalable solutions in the Microsoft cloud environment.
  • You will design, develop and implement Microsoft Fabric solutions to enable data processing, data integration and advanced analytics capabilities.
  • You will collaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration between Microsoft Fabric and other Azure services.
  • You will stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in Microsoft Fabric technologies and apply this knowledge to deliver innovative solutions to customers.
  • You contribute to the creation of best practices, guidelines and standards related to Microsoft Fabric implementations.
  • You document technical designs, configurations and changes for effective knowledge transfer and team collaboration.
  • Together with your team, you ensure the successful delivery of projects, meeting quality, timing and budget requirements.
  • Thanks to your coaching style, you know how to take other project members to the next level.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have a strong background and min. 4 years experience in working with Microsoft Azure Data Services, such as Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Explorer, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • You have built experience within Microsoft Fabric.
  • You are familiar with Big Data concepts and have experience with data processing at scale.
  • Certifications on Microsoft Azure and Fabric are a plus.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and can quickly tackle complex technical challenges.
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills and can work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • You have a passion for continuous self-development and stay up to date with the latest developments in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
  • Hybrid employment: You will work on site at the client, combined with working in the Cegeka office close to where you live (Ghent, Antwerp, Diegem, Leuven or Hasselt). There is also the possibility of working from home.
