  • You are the technical conscience of the client's IT environment. You maintain an overview and lay out the blueprint for the IT infrastructure
  • You collaborate with the client, understanding their business requirements, designing solutions and ensuring the technical design exceeds expectations
  • You ensure the client has no worries about their IT environment by providing them with a stable and innovative IT setup
  • You primarily work on Digital Workplace-oriented projects with our clients, ensuring seamless integration of workplace components into the client’s overall IT landscape
  • You are part of the client team, taking on a key role in managing the client's IT environment(s)
  • As a Technical Architect, you help translate the architectural vision into operational activities to ensure service delivery
  • Creating patch, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery plans is part of your responsibilities, in line with the Multi Compliance Framework
  • You work according to the Cegeka Architect Framework for documenting the IT environment
  • Together with the Account Manager, Service Delivery Manager and Lead Architect, you refine the vision into a service offering, balancing costs and operational Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • You regularly conduct analyses of the IT environment with the goal of striving for improvements and taking the necessary actions
  • You develop innovative proposals for the IT vision and business needs of clients
  • You are a connector between different departments, fostering collaboration between engineering teams and facilitating knowledge sharing
  • You support the Presales Architect/Account Manager with the content during the creation of offers for new opportunities and assist the Change/Project Manager with the impact analysis of a change and the initiation of projects.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have a bachelor or master degree
  • You have gained excellent knowledge of IT infrastructure and various infrastructure products/domains from a previous role as an Architect or Senior System Engineer
  • In addition to Digital Workplace and IT Infrastructure, you also have strong knowledge of Data Centers and Cybersecurity
  • For our Digital Workplace projects, you have worked with some of the following technologies: Intune, (Azure) Active Directory, Microsoft 365 E5 components (Identity, Communication & Collaboration, Device Management, and Security)
  • TOGAF and ArchiMate certification are a plus
  • You have a solid understanding of ITIL
  • You are a strong communicator, proactive, team-oriented and customer-focused
  • You have an eye for detail. The IT architecture you propose is comprehensive and accurately documented according to Cegeka standards
  • You aim to provide real added value to your clients, working result-oriented with a constant focus on quality
  • You are fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus
  • You are eager to further develop in your field of expertise
  • You are willing to work on-site with clients and work at least one day per week in a Cegeka office (preferably in Hasselt or Berchem).
