  • As Team Lead Workplace Solutions, you will manage a team of around 30 motivated support and system engineers. Together, you will ensure that thousands of end users (via both virtual and physical workplaces) can work seamlessly.
  • Together with the Manager Workplace Solutions, you form a strong duo: you report, consult, and actively contribute new ideas.
  • You see opportunities to make processes smarter, for example through automation or optimization, and you dare to actually implement those improvements.
  • You ensure that operational planning always runs smoothly and quickly make adjustments when necessary.
  • Escalations and operational issues? You tackle them decisively and professionally.
  • With your team, you deliver top-notch service to both internal and external customers.
  • You develop and maintain clear procedures and processes, follow up on objectives, and report clearly to all parties involved.
  • You play an active role in recruitment, with a keen eye on our nearshore strategy.
  • You work 2 to 3 days a week at our location in Hasselt, supplemented by working from home and occasional customer visits.
  • In short, you are more than a manager: you are a motivator, a sparring partner for our Manager Workplace Solutions, and an innovator who is constantly looking for improvements such as automation and process optimization.

What you need to succeed:

  • A solid background in the digital workplace and experience as a support or system engineer – so you know exactly what is going on with your team members.
  • Several years of experience in an operational environment, combined with strong people management skills, preferably gained within a support or system engineer team.
  • Fluent communication in both Dutch and English – you know how to convey your message clearly and convincingly.
  • A customer-focused attitude and a healthy dose of assertiveness: you dare to make decisions and are confident in your abilities.
  • Strong social skills: tact, persuasiveness, and the ability to get people on board.
  • Integrity, reliability, and a critical eye that allows you to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Stress resistance and the talent to turn challenges into opportunities.
  • Proficiency with Excel, and preferably knowledge of M365, SCCM, Intune, Citrix, AVD, etc.
