Cegeka's Flanders Digital, in partnership with the Flemish government, wants to ensure that Flanders grows into the European top five most digitised regions. Cegeka is the Flemish government's strategic IT partner in this. We are looking for people with, to put it in Flemish, enthusiasm! Would you like to help build a digital Flanders as an Account Manager?

  • In this role, you represent Flanders Digital and its solutions within the policy domains & agencies entrusted to you; in short, you are their point of contact.
  • You delve into all the services provided by Flanders Digital within the Flemish government's application framework contract and offer sustainable software applications and maintenance services.
  • You are a real networker and therefore know the needs thoroughly are and are aware of upcoming RFP’s.
  • You spot opportunities within existing solutions and are a go-getter of new deals.
  • You follow up requests from qualification to delivery of the offer: you work closely with the development and presales teams to present the best solution to the customer.
  • You also work closely with other divisions and departments within Cegeka.
  • You travel between the various locations of both the client (usually Brussels) and the various Cegeka offices where our teams are present.
  • You will help build solutions with Customer Intimacy in mind.
  • You help to follow up current projects.

What you need to succeed:

  • You are familiar with the ins and outs of the Flemish government and have already built an interesting network there.
  • You have experience in providing customised software solutions within the Flemish government.
  • You are a real networker who establishes and maintains warm relationships with various stakeholders.
  • You are incredibly good at spotting opportunities.
  • You are an initiator who can handle a healthy dose of stress. You think in terms of solutions rather than problems.
  • You have a strong personality and an open and sincere communication style.
  • You are a real team player who strives for good cooperation with colleagues from other divisions.
  • You are bilingual (NL/ENG).
