For our division Smart Cities (Data Solutions) we’re looking for a Business Development Manager. From our experience in platform/software engineering, data engineering and digital twins, we help customers integrate silo solutions into a total solution (platform). Here, we work in close cooperation with the customer and provide a customized solution that meets key business expectations and where we help them become part of one or more ecosystems.   • As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new opportunities with large customers in the private sector (manufacturing companies, utilities, construction, etc.).
  • You quickly understand the key challenges these companies face and are able to propose appropriate solutions together with a team of specialists.
  • You work with our architects to develop proposals and solutions that meet the specific needs (customization) of our clients.
  • You negotiate contracts & close deals like no other.
  • You will also take charge of working with our marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and materials targeted to our target audience.

What you need to succeed:

  • You are driven, incisive and results-oriented!
  • You have proven years of experience in selling complex software solutions (customized) to large customers in the private sector.
  • You strongly believe in the added value of data visualization and analysis and can also convey this enthusiasm to decision makers at our clients.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship skills.
  • You can perfectly empathize with the needs of the customer and look for creative solutions together with them.
  • You work towards customer satisfaction. Every new prospect should be a future Cegeka reference.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English!
