As a Cyber Security Presales you are responsible for working with our clients and the Cegeka sales team to understand client requirements & security risks, propose technical &  managed security solutions and guide the client to the right solution in a consultative way. Cegeka helps organizations in their journey to improve Cyber Resilience through end-to-end Cyber Defense solutions including Assessments, Preventive measures, Detection & Response and Recovery solutions. This includes a broad range of technologies and solutions in the space of a.o. infrastructure & cloud security, endpoint security and Identity & Access Management. Cegeka also offers Advanced Managed Detection & Response services (SOC Services) from their Belgium based SOC as well as Managed Security Infrastructure Services. Cegeka Cyber Security Division continues to grow in Belgium and beyond. In order to further support the team in Belgium we are looking for a Cyber Security Presales consultant to join our dynamic and passionate team. #LI-IF1

  • Work with our clients and sales team to understand the security requirements of our clients & prospects
  • Work with our clients and sales team to present and propose both technical and managed security services solutions to our clients & prospects
  • Prepare security solutions and proposals in response to requests for information (RFI), requests for proposals (RFP), etc.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Security domains like SOC services, Network, Infrastructure & Cloud Security, Endpoint security, Security Consulting, Incident Response and other. 
  • The Cyber Security Presales consultant should have a broad understanding of the Cyber Security landscape and use this knowledge to guide clients to the right solution set.
  • Work with our security experts in different domains to define the best solution for our clients matching both technical, operational and budgetary requirements.

What you need to succeed:

  • The Security Presales Consultant requires broad expertise in the Cyber Security domain (>6 years) and able to understand customer security challenges and requirements and discuss such challenges with our clients and prospects. 
  • Experience in a customer-facing security role and experience in a security presale role is a plus
  • The Security Presales can translate those requirements into security solutions throughout the presales phase using 3rd party security technologies & Cegeka Managed Security Services.
  • Understanding and experience with SOC services is a plus.
  • The Security Presales must be able to work autonomously to assist in developing client proposals and support the sales teams & clients with specialized security expertise. This includes responding to customer demands, respond to RFP requests and have an advising role to customers during sales cycles.
  • CISSP certification and security technology certifications are a plus.
  • A customer oriented attitude and strong communication & presentation skills are a requirement. 
  • Logical thinking & systematic approach for problem solving.
  • Good language skills in Dutch and English are required.
