EPD Consultant nexuzhealth

Software & Analysis
Professional

Are you driven, communicative and customer focused? Would you like to implement software packages in the hospital sector? Then nexuzhealth has a tailor-made challenge for you! Nexuzhealth is the Flemish market leader in the management of electronic patient records (EPD). Founded in 2016 by UZ Leuven and Cegeka, it builds on 25 years of development on the Clinical Workstation (KWS) within UZ Leuven. Nexuzhealth thus combines the years of experience of both organizations in ICT and healthcare with the passion of a startup. By offering the collaboration between different hospitals and the patient in a transparent and unambiguous manner, nexuzhealth increases the quality of the care provision. Today, 37 Flemish hospitals and care institutions already work with KWS, accounting for approximately half of the Flemish hospital beds. Patients are also finding their way to mynexuzhealth.be, the platform where every patient from an affiliated healthcare institution can consult his or her own file free of charge. About 1 million patients already use the file in their contacts with their care team, either via computer or smartphone.  Currently we are still looking for one EPD Consultant with knowledge of medication processes, one EPD Consultant with a Paramedic background and one EPD Consultant with billing knowledge. In addition to these 3 specific profiles, we are currently expanding our recruitment reserve so that we can switch quickly when additional colleagues are sought.#LI-LC1

  • You will be responsible for the implementation and correct use of nexuzhealth's KWS at the customer's site.
  • You provide support for the configuration and implementation of the KWS. For this you will make a thorough analysis and take into account the total process and the needs of the end users and stakeholders.
  • You supervise the implementation of the KWS and manage it further in close consultation with your colleagues and the customer.
  • You give training according to the train the trainer principle.
  • You create and maintain documentation and communicate changes to the customer and colleagues.

What you need to succeed:

  • You can easily acquire new knowledge, have IT affinity, like to think in terms of efficiency and would therefore like to immerse yourself in our software, the KWS.
  • If you have experience with software package implementations and/or experience with project-based work, this is a huge advantage.
  • You are familiar with the ins and outs of the hospital sector or at least have a strong interest in it.
  • You are flexible, communicative, autonomous, empathetic, customer-oriented and assertive and enjoy working in a team.
  • Experience with consulting roles is a big plus (conceptual thinking, being able to translate and especially empathize with the customer's world and business processes).
  • Your competences include being result-oriented and being able and willing to work according to a predefined script or project plan.
  • Education level Bachelor or Master and you have a fluent knowledge of Dutch and English.
  • You are flexible when it comes to travel: you work partly from the client's premises, partly in our offices and partly from home.
  • For the EPD Consultant with knowledge of medication processes we are looking for someone who has studied pharmacy, has worked in a (hospital) pharmacy or has gained medication knowledge in another way. Location is less important here, as for all Consultancy roles some flexibility towards travel is of course required.
  • For the EPD Consultant with Paramedic background we are looking for an occupational therapist, speech therapist, audiologist or physiotherapist who has already worked in a hospital, has IT affinity and would like to work on a consultancy basis. We are looking for someone who lives in East or West Flanders or centrally located in Flanders.
  • For the implementation of our KWS billing module we are looking for an EPD Consultant who has knowledge of various billing and financial terms.

What are we offering:

  • Respect for work-life balance
  • Your competencies and interests are aligned with the needs of the company
